Salt Lake Boudoir Photographer Melissa Green – Utah Boudoir Photography
Yet another one of our amazing sessions we had this past year. 2012 surely came with a huge growth spurt as boudoir portraits have become very popular. Nothing I love more than when the client incorporates their sweetie’s career into their wardrobe. Besides the Military ABU’s and flight suits, I think my next favorite set-up is a fire fighter. Sure the smokey smell may smell the studio up but the colors and uniform are just so much fun to work with! Gets all my creativity flowing and I love exploring new ideas. I always hep and communicate with my client on wardrobe and their overall goal for the shoot. It takes a bit of preparation on both sides; client and photographer.
The day of the shoot the client comes to our home based studio and meets with me as well as our female stylist. From that point we look at the outfits brought and decide with the clients input of course what the overall feel will be (classic glamour, pin up, sultry etc) and base their look on that. Sometimes the client says “whatever you ladies think is best” which is always OK too. We are after all professionals and have photographed hundreds of women the past 4 years. Yes, 4 years we have now been doing this and every year it just keeps getting better! This next portrait is my favorite from the session!
Please note if you are interested in getting your boudoir portraits for the holidays or even Valentines you must book by the end of November to ensure sufficient time for product delivery. Boudoir makes a great gift so why not surprise your other sexy half with a sultry black book or pin up calendar?!
